On the first day of the business program of the
INTERFABRIC exhibition (August 28), a Workshop from leading experts on textile purchasing and customs regulation of import and export operations will be held.
This session is devoted to the most urgent and pressing issues arising from the import of textile and light industry goods to our country’s territory – logistics in the fashion segment, certification, customs clearance, customs value declaration.
The following issues will be discussed during the session:
- International cooperation in the light industry, purchase of fabrics, customs regulation of import-export operations
- Workshop with participation of FCS, logistics consultants, representatives of industry companies.
- The main barriers to the purchase of fabrics and textiles abroad
- Tax schemes and customs clearance

Profile specialists and experts, employees of organizations responsible for these issues will be among the speakers.
Galina Balandina, the head of the Center for Support of Foreign Economic Activity and Regional Development, will deliver a report on ‘Analyzing changes in the customs legislation regulating the import and export of fabrics, raw materials for their production and other products and goods of the textile and light industry.’ The report will examine the changes in the customs legislation and their impact on the size of imports and exports, and, accordingly, on the balance of supply and demand for a particular product in the Russian market and logistics in the fashion segment.
Viktor Seleznev, Head of the Main Department of Customs Control after the release of goods of the FCS of Russia, in his speech paid attention to the issues of declaring, adjusting, confirming the customs value based on the practice of the FCS of Russia. The expert will tell about the changes expected within the established order in connection with the entry into force of the New Customs Code.
Deputy Head of the Department for Trade Restrictions on Foreign Exchange and Export Control of the FCS of Russia
Yevgeny Egorov will pay attention to the issues of certification and conformity assessment when importing textile and light industry goods to the territory of the Russian Federation.
Vice-president of the Customs & Corporate Lawyers partnership network, a member of the Council of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Russia on customs policy, lawyer Olga Kurochkina will raise the topic of external economic (customs) audit.
The event will also be attended by representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, leading companies of the industry that carry out foreign economic activities.
