March 21 in “Expocentre” in the framework of the business program of the “Interfabric-2018.Spring” exhibition and “Russian Textile Week -2018” a panel discussion “DIGITAL FUTURE OF LIGHT INDUSTRY”  was held. It was organized  by a working group of the The All-Russian People’s Front and the Committee on digital technology of the Russian Union of Entrepreneurs of Textile and Light Industry. zif Representatives of the industry and the fashion industry, the Chamber of Commerce of the Russian Federation, experts in the digital economy, participating in the discussion, have considered the transition of light industry to new technologies, as well as approaches to the formation of standards for the digitization of the sector. According to Elena Dybova, vice-president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, the robotization in the light industry is one of the most promising directions. Already today, she said, there are global changes in the change of professions to those that will be in demand on the market. Basically, people will earn creative money with creative skills. In light industry, this is especially felt, as there are not enough designers, those who offer what not everyone else does. Robotization  will lead to the withdrawal from the market of routine work, says Elena Dybova. The ARPF Working Group together with experts and with the participation of federal executive bodies intends to work out concrete steps to standardize digital production technologies and create competence centers in the light industry. On the eve, the State Secretary-Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Viktor Yevtukhov expressed his opinion of this topic in an interview with journalists at Legpromforum-2018. In particular, he noted that digitalization is actively entering the industry. The production system and the logistics system are now being computerized. Accordingly, many procedures are simplified. The middle link, where there is a lack of human resources, is replaced by automation, production processes accelerate. Decisions are made faster. Faster design is created. Now, modern technology allows you to measure a person without contact, and do this for a large number of people. Customize production, customize it to the physical parameters of a person, taking into account the growth, posture, features of the figure, etc. Create digital counterparts. Our enterprises either create such technologies themselves, or are attracted from abroad and localized in the territory of the Russian Federation. One of the digital factories of the future in the light industry will soon be established in Ivanovo, the deputy minister said.
