THE LARGEST EXHIBITION CENTER IN SOUTH KOREA KINTEX HAS SUCCESSFULLY HELD THE ‘MBC ARCHITECTURE EXPO’ EXHIBITION WITH PRECAUTION MEASURES FOR HEALTH COVID-19.

KINTEX has used ‘third level access control’ at the Exhibition Centre, held the disinfection treatment inside and outside the exhibition hall, as well of the outer air intake and air conditioning.

Three-level plan of access safety to KINTEX at the first level provides for control of the visitors who must be wearing masks to enter the building. Disinfecting carpets, thermo-vision cameras and thermometers are set at the entrances.

Ambulances stand-by for being on the safe side. At the second level the repeated body temperature control is being held at the entrance to the exhibition hall, where there sanitizers are set, after which visitors must put on the gloves.

The queue of the visitors is organized with intervals of 1,5 m. At the third level in the exhibition hall everyone should be wearing masks and gloves, the exhibition participants and cafe staff must additionally be wearing protective screens.

Moreover, the spaces between the stands should be not less than 4 m and not needed contact is additionally minimized by the one-side induction routes.

The acrylic barrier is set in the business meetings and cafe area. Special disinfecting measures are carrying out by quarantine company twice a day.

Besides that, KINTEX staff carries out general cleaning works in the main areas such as entrances, WC, smoking cabins, escalators, recreation areas and so on. The inner air conditioning system was modified for the increase of outer air flow speed, which was maintained at 30% level, now it’s 100%.
