Business Development Director of MELON FASHION GROUP to hold an AUTHOR’S SEMINAR on establishing relations between manufacturers and trading networks

  August 30 of this year in the framework of the Business Program of the INTERFABRIC exhibition, the author’s Workshop from the international business consultant, the development director of one of the largest Russian fashion retailers Melon Fashion Group – Mike Mikkelborg will be held. The expert will speak on the topic: ‘How to meet the requirements of professional Russian and international retailers. Methods of work and world experience in implementing of successful schemes of interaction between market participants (manufacturer and retailer) in China, Myanmar, Turkey and the United Kingdom.’ Within the framework of the INTERFABRIC Business Program Workshop, Mike Mikkelborg for the first time will share his experience in creating of successful production, launching new brands on the sales markets, establishing cooperation between factories and networks in front of a large Russian audience, and also will talk with representatives of light industry – participants of INTERFABRIC exhibition. Mike Then, on behalf of the Melon Fashion Group, the expert will take part in the Trade and Purchasing Session of the producers of the industry and the largest retail chains, which will be held on August 30, within the framework of the INTERFABRIC Business Program, and will consult Russian manufacturers of light industry in search of Russian factories for placement orders of the company on the Russian market. The workshop will be held on August 30 this of year, at 2 pm in the hall ‘PRACTICUM’ of  pavilion 7.1. (‘Western entrance’ of the Expocentre Fairgrounds, Krasnopresnenskaya naberezhnaya, 14, ‘Vystavochnaya’ metro station). REFERENCE:   Mike Mikkelborg is a well-known international business expert. During his 20-year career in fashion retail, he held managerial positions and carried out business development, supply chain and e-commerce activities in various corporations around the world, as well as in China, Russia, Europe, the USA, South Africa.  Over the years, he has successfully established his own factories and production sites for tailoring in China and has been supplying products to order for corporations such as Walmart, H & M, IKEA and many others. He also acted as a consultant for the Chinese garment and textile industry, worked with Deloitte, launched fashion brands in the US and Japan. In addition to his own enterprises, he held executive positions in large corporate fashion companies and retailers. Mike Mikkelborg consults large fashion retailers, governments and venture firms, focusing primarily on strategy development, e-commerce, creating supply chains and mastering new markets.
