Dentelles MÉRY is a family business of 4 generations of the Mery family. The history of the company originates in 1924, and in 1925 Jean Mery acquires the first Leavers machine. Leavers lace produced by the company in Caudry (the lace edge of France) reproduces handmade lace with striking precision. According to the Dentelle Mery team, Leavers lace is a miracle from mixing the two opposite worlds: on the one hand, it is steel, noise and dirt from the machine, and on the other – the gracefulness, lightness and elegance of lace. The company’s products are in demand both in the world of haute couture and prêt-à-porter. Dentelle Mery are the participants of the largest textile exhibitions all over the world.
