Post-release of the VI International Exhibition of Fabrics and Textile Materials “INTERFABRIC-2019.Spring”

     March 19 – 22, 2019 in the Expocentre Fairgrounds, in the framework of the “Russian Textile Week”, the VI International Exhibition of Fabrics and Textile materials “INTERFABRIC-2019. Spring” was held.

   The exhibition was traditionally organized by the Russian Union of Entrepreneurs of Textile and Light Industry (SOUZLEGPROM) with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation and the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.

   INTERFABRIC is the largest specialized exhibition in Russia for manufacturers of fabrics, textile materials, accessories and components. Today, the exhibition, without exaggeration, is a key event for the domestic textile market. According to industry professionals, the INTERFABRIC exhibition platform not only helps to establish relationships between manufacturers, suppliers and consumers of textile products, but also forms the level of demand for it and offers for the upcoming seasons.

    The exhibition has been successfully held in a seasonal format for the past three years. During the event, more than 2000 leading industry companies from more than 30 countries became its participants, and about 80,000 professionals and industry professionals visited the exhibition.

    Summing up the past exhibition, it is worth noting that in the spring of 2019 in the exposition of the INTERFABRIC exhibition on an area of ​​more than 5,300 sq. m. more than 200 brands of manufacturers and suppliers of fabrics from 29 countries participated:

– Russian manufacturers: “MIRtex”, “Sverdlovsk Worsted Wool Plant”, “RUTKANI”, “Mekh Oretex”, etc.

– manufacturers of technical materials: Baltex, NIPROMTEX, Peredovaya Tekstilschitsa, Tchaikovsky Textile and others.

– the accessories salon was presented by the following companies: AFA, Escher Textil, Hitit Transfer, Neon Label, Sergio Stefano, GalaPoligraph, McTailor, MiassFurnitura, Mir Manufaktury, TradeDecorFurnitura, etc. 

For the first time at the spring Interfabric, SUR INTERNATIONAL INVESTMENT Co. LTD. presented its exposition – an international textile company based in Sudan. Textile complex SUR – 550 000 sq.m. includes: spinning, weaving, knitting, dyeing, finishing and garment factories of full production from raw materials to finished products.

   The Peru-Russia Chamber of Commerce presented a wide exposition of world-famous alpaca products and raw materials (Southern Peru).

    In the exhibition INTERFABRIC-2019. Spring, the number of exhibitors increased by 8% compared with the previous exhibition. The industry specialization of the exhibition is confirmed by the high quality of the visitors: company managers / founders – 40%, company directors 15%, procurement specialists / managers – 30%, designers – 10%, individual entrepreneurs: – 5%.

 As part of the spring exhibition, leading manufacturers and suppliers presented their collections of natural fabrics from cotton, silk, linen and wool, non-natural and blended fabrics: artificial and synthetic fabrics, in any design from simple light stylistics of the upcoming summer to complex patterns in modern trend designs for Russian and world markets.

   At the the exhibition there was also widely presented a section of manufacturers of accessories: from decorative to functional, including accessories made of plastic, metal, and textiles. At the exhibition, visitors were shown collections of accessories from the exclusive segment to order in unique individual copies, to mass production in large wholesale batches, at attractive prices.

       The organizers noted that today’s manufacturers and suppliers of fabrics in the selection of collections for the exhibition carefully and scrupulously approach each presented sample and are ready to satisfy any consumer needs: from a piece of cloth to a single copy of finished products, to supplies on an industrial scale to ensure sewing industries.

 

   According to the visitors’ estimates, the INTERFABRIC exhibition today is the most important platform in Russia not only in selecting the right fabrics, but successfully positioning itself as a platform that unlocks the full potential of the domestic fabric market, including current and future trends for several seasons to come.

 March 19, 2019, in the “Blue Hall” of the Expocentre Fairgrounds  the grand opening of the 6th International Exhibition of Fabrics and Textile Materials “Interfabric-2019. Spring” was held. This time the spring textile exhibition was held as part of the annual industry event – “Russian Textile Week-2019”.

   In a welcoming speech to the gathered General Director of Expocentre Sergey Bednov noted that participation in the events of such a large number of Russian, foreign companies and experts testifies to the authority of the events in the global table of textile and light industry ranks.

   State Secretary, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of Russia Viktor Evtukhov took part in the opening ceremony. He read the greeting of the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Kozak, to the participants and guests of the “Russian Textile Week-2019”and the exhibition. V. Evtukhov noted that working together with Souzlegprom and, in general, with the business community, state support measures prove their effectiveness. Thus, “in 2018, the textile production index was 103.6%, of clothing production – 104.1% compared with 2017. Similar trends are in several other sectors of the domestic light industry, and they are observed from 2015-2016. This is a proper illustration of the fruitful collaboration of the state and business. ”

   The President of Souzlegprom, Andrei Razbrodin, in his speech expressed his gratitude to the participants of the exhibition and events of the Russian Textile Week. Stressing the increasingly productive cooperation of the Union with the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, A. Razbrodin also noted the developing partnership of Souzlegprom with the leading German exhibition company Messe Frankfurt. In addition, in February of this year the Union and Messe Düsseldorf Moscow, the organizer of the Collection Premiere Moscow (CPM) exhibition, agreed on a single timeline for holding industry exhibitions at Expocenter. As a result, the autumn exhibitions CPM and Interfabric will be held at the same time on the same site of Expocentre.

   The rich business program of the exhibition in the framework of the ”Russian Textile Week-2019” traditionally took place in various formats: conferences, seminars, round tables, master classes and workshops. Participants and visitors could hear the opinion of experts and industry experts, share useful information and ask questions. Among the main topics announced in the spring business session were:

   “Digitalization of textile and light industry”, “Cluster approach to the organization of a full cycle of textile and clothing products”, “Prospects for the development of the domestic fashion industry”, “Stylistics and design, trends of the season”, “International technical textile market – overview, trends , problems and prospects of development “,”Prospects for the digital transformation of textile production of different scale and specialization. “

   As part of the Interfabric  exhibition, the next International Textile Expert Forum has traditionally been held. Co-organizers – Souzlegprom and Solstudio Textile Design. Trend-Forum is a professional design space, organized by leading domestic and foreign designers and trend offices in collaboration with manufacturers and suppliers of fabrics and textile materials. In a rich business program of the Trend Forum, numerous events were held with the participation of famous fashion and clothing designers.    

   A large collection of samples of fabrics of new collections from exhibitors was presented in the trend-zone, indicating on the samples the name and stand of the company, which helped visitors to quickly find the manufacturer of their interest at the exposition. A professional jury (Alexandra Kaloshina (founder of the SOLSTUDIO group of companies), Vladimir Zubets (designer), Galina Kryuchkova (chief designer of the Fashion House of V. Zaytsev), Yulia Ivanova (designer), and others)  chose the winners of  INTERFABRIC-2019.Spring Award : in the nomination “Structures and Surfaces” – TkanBerry (St. Petersburg), the prize for “Sustainable Development” was received by the designer Tatyana Savosina (Ivanovo), in the nomination “Decoration and Finishing“- Sophie Hallette (France) and, finally, in the nomination “Drawing “the company Juan Boluda (Spain) was awarded the prize.

In the framework of the Trend Forum, the well-known French trend bureau PROMOSTYL presented a trend book “Fashion trends in clothing for the SPRING / SUMMER 2020 season”. The main function of the trend book is to awaken the designer’s imagination, to show images that will be relevant in the next season. A trend book is the result of the work of a large number of people, here is a combination of incredible professional flair, and calculation – a necessary element of any creativity. But above all – it is the intuition of professionals in their field, the ability to grasp the spirit of the time, to guess the desires of people.

   For the first time, the first International Textile Digital Printing Salon TEXTILEPRINT was held at the INTERFABRIC exhibition. Salon participants – manufacturers and suppliers of equipment, consumables and software for digital printing on textiles (“T &T Textiles and Technologies”, “Smart-T”, GC “Velles”, “Kovcheg”, “RUSSCOM”, “TEXTEL”, “AVA CAD / AM”) and factories and printing houses of digital printing on textiles in any volumes ( “Moscow Printing and Sewing Manufactory ”,“ GOLDEN GOOSE ”,“ Colori_37 ”,“ PrintPic-Fabric Printing Factory ”, “Factory Textile Design”and others). At the unique, interactive exposition in the open-space format, the companies presented the existing equipment, showed the finished products of their own production and the process of printing on finished products directly at the salon site.   

On March 21, 2019, within the framework of the business program of the TEXTILEPRINT salon, the conference “Perspectives of Digital Transformation of Textile Industries of Different Scale and Specialization” was held, organized by Digital Textiles magazine and SOUZLEGPROM. The leaders of specialized printing houses, factories and services spoke about their experience in working with digital textiles. Special mention should be made of the presentations that aroused great interest: Olga Dyachenkova (Solstudio Textile Design), Grigory Sumenkov (Textiles and Technologies company), Andrey Sobolev (Velles company), Yuri Efremov (Textiles and Technologies), Tatyana Tyurina (company “Kovcheg”).
