Post-release of the VII International Exhibition of Fabrics and Textile Materials “INTERFABRIC-2019. Autumn”

 On September 3-6, in pavilion No. 1 at the site of the Expocentre Fairgrounds, the 7th International Exhibition of Fabrics and Textile Materials INTERFABRIC-2019.Autumn has completed its work. The organizer of the exhibition is the Russian Union of Entrepreneurs of Textile and Light Industry SOUZLEGPROM, with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, RF CCI, RSPP.

The exhibition continues to actively develop and grow, as evidenced by the next quantitative and qualitative statistical indicators.

The autumn exhibition was held in the new, more spacious pavilion No. 1, this pavilion will remain the main platform for the future period. The exposition of the exhibition has grown by 30%, which is about 1 thousand square meters of space. The total area of ​​the exhibition reached 8 thousand square meters and includes areas of specialized salons and international expositions: Salon of textile and sewing accessories, haberdashery; Digital Textile Printing Salon ‘TextilePrint’; exposition of domestic and European manufacturers; expositions of manufacturers from Turkey and China.

 

225 leading global brands participated in the 7th INTERFABRIC exhibition, the number of participants grew by 30%. The expositions of specialized salons increased significantly, so the exposition of the TextilePrint salon increased more than 2.5 times, the exposition of the accessories salon increased by 20%.

The composition of participants across countries practically did not change, but significantly increased in quantitative terms, the number of domestic participants increased by 25% compared with the previous exhibition, and expositions from Turkey, Italy, Spain, France and China showed more than 10% growth. In addition, the leading companies of the industry market from the following countries were represented at the exhibition: Poland, South Korea, Germany, and Norway.

The autumn exhibition was attended by over 9 thousand specialists and industry participants. Among the registered visitors, experts from the following countries took part in the exhibition: Russia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Germany, Greece, Belgium, England, India, Italy, Latvia, Pakistan, Poland, South Korea, UAE, USA, Moldova, Ukraine, Czech Republic, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, China, Tajikistan, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Estonia, etc.

The qualitative composition of visitors was: 55% – company executives, business owners, 42% – managers of commercial directions, specialists and industry participants, 3% – private interest in the industry.

Traditionally, the exhibition was led by the exposition of Mirtex, the largest domestic manufacturer of knitted fabrics. At the exposition of the company’s stand, a wide range of paintings of various weaves, density and width was presented, as well as demonstrating the capabilities and quality of products of high-performance dyeing lines and new lines of direct digital and rotational printing installed on the company’s production facilities.

Also at the exhibition there were the expositions of the largest domestic manufacturers – Sverdlovsk Worsted Factory, MiassFurnitura, MechOretex and others. Among the foreign participants, the best products were presented by the companies: Lanificio Campore (Italy), Lana Seta (Italy), Bacus (France), Muehlmeier Bodyshaping Gmbh (Germany), Jakob Dietz Textilhandel (Germany), Gratacos (Spain), TEXATHENEA SL (Spain), Sapor (Poland), JOZWIAK (Poland), etc.

Among the honored guests at the official opening ceremony of the exhibition there were: Vice President of the RF CCI, member of the Board of SOUZLEGPROM Dmitry Kurochkin, Deputy Director of the Department of Light Industry and Timber Industry of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Irina Ivanova, President of the Russian Union of Entrepreneurs of Textile and Light Industry, member of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation Andrey Razbrodin, Vice President of the Confederation of Italian Industrialists Confindustria Russia John Motta, Vice President of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs Victor Cherepov, designer Irina Krutikova, founder of Solstudio Alexandra Kaloshina.

 

In the very center of the exhibition, the TEXTILE TREND FORUM has traditionally been held. The event was organized by the Russian Union of Entrepreneurs of Textile and Light Industry, Solstudio Textile Design. The TREND ZONE has become the conceptual center of the Forum. The trend zone is organized and designed by Solstudio Textile Design, using textile materials provided by exhibiting companies. The companies participating in the trend zone exposition presented the best fabric samples from new collections in categories that reflect the main technological and creative processes in fabric production: structures and surfaces, decoration and fabric patterns. General directions of the season: design thinking aimed at convenience, durability and biocompatibility. According to the results of the collections studied, an authoritative jury awarded the best samples a victory in the categories of the prestigious Interfabric Award. This year, the prize was awarded to companies in the following categories: Structures and surfaces – Colors company (Italy); Finishing and decoration – Leathertex (Italy); Drawing – Sapor (Poland); Sustainable development – MIRteks (Russia).


From the first day of the exhibition, visitors were offered a rich business program. In particular, expert sessions were held on the fashion industry, with an analysis of the situation in the industry, as well as round tables and workshops on marketing and promotion of light industry and fashion industry products, and optimization of production processes in the clothing industry.

 

Presentations by well-known speakers and professionals in the fashion business industry were of great interest at the exhibition’s business program: Anush Gasparyan (Fashion Consulting Group), Ekaterina Korolkevich (BGDT partner), Irina Pishchuk (System Marketing Academy), Svetlana Solnykova (Fashion Factory School), Sergey Promokhov (Procapitalist.ru), etc.

 

The participants were presented with the presentation of the work of the new joint Russian-British certification project of Trigon Select Russia, during which all interested specialists received a maximum of information and answers to questions regarding the receipt by the Russian manufacturers of uniform international IAF certificates, the significance of international certification as a way to actively promote domestic products on foreign markets. And also during the presentation, the first results of certification of domestic enterprises were summed up.

 

At the Interfabric autumn exhibition, a planned joint meeting of the Committee for Chemical Fibers and Yarns, Textile Products  of SOUZLEGPROM and the Russian Union of Chemists (RUC) took place. At the joint meeting delivered speech: the President of SOUZLEGPROM Andrey Razbrodin, Executive Director of the RUC Vyacheslav Savinov, Head of the Light Industry Department of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia Irina Ivanova, Vice President of the RF CCI Dmitry Kurochkin, as well as industry leaders and experts. The discussion was actively attended by Ekaterina Lavrentyeva, First Deputy General Director for Science of the Institute of Textile and Light Industry, who presented a scientific analysis of the demand for chemical fibers and yarns by Russian light industry enterprises, Tatiana Starostina, leading research associate at NIITEHIM, who informed the participants about the current situation in the Russian chemical industry fibers and yarns, managers and experts of the Center for Textile and Light Industry, St. Petersburg Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange, SIBUR, KuibyshevAzot, Titan-Polymer and other leading domestic industry enterprises.

 

The II International Textile Digital Printing Salon ‘TextilePrint’ was held as part of the VII Interfabric International Exhibition of Fabrics and Textile Materials. The TextilePrint salon that took place for the 1st time  in March of this year aroused great interest among industry experts and visitors. In autumn, among the new exhibitors there were: Konica Minolta, Epson, Huntsman, Durst (official representative in Russia, SignArt company), Canapa (Turkey), Digital Textile digital textile factory.

 

In addition to the demonstration of equipment at the salon, for the first time in Russia, the production of several types of finished products in a full cycle was organized – from printing to sewing. Smart-T and Allart Service companies showed the printing process on rolls of natural fabric. Epson, together with Textiles and Technologies, as well as Smart-T, demonstrated equipment for sublimation printing and the process of transferring images to synthetic fabrics using the calendars Monti Antonio and TitanJet operating on the stand. The finished product was printed using the Velles sewing equipment. The company Double V introduced the process of decorating products with foil from the brand Leonard Kurz.

 

On September 5, as part of the exposition of the TextilePrint Salon, an Expert Session “Building Modern Digital Printing Production” was held. The event was organized by the Committee for Digital Printing and Textile Decoration of Souzlegprom and the Digital Textile magazine. The keynote speech was delivered by Mikhail Shpilkin, Chairman of the Committee for Digital Printing and Textile Decoration of Souzlegprom: “Results of the ITMA exhibition and prospects for the development of digital printing for textiles in Russia and the world for the next 4 years.” Participants of the Expert Session talked about existing and planned to launch in Russia textile digital printing industries: Solstudio, Digital Textile. Textile and Technology, Smart-T, and Velles companies spoke about existing printing technologies and equipment for textile production (Konica Minolta, MS Italy, Epson, Mimaki, Brother). About the equipment of the Chinese company Atexco said the representative of the company Allart Service Vladimir Bakhtin. The speech of the representative of Double V Olga Danilenko on decorating textile with foil produced by Leonard Kurz aroused great interest of the session participants.

 

 

 

For the convenience and comfort of visitors working with the exhibition, the organizers implemented a whole range of solutions and services – zoning the exposition of fabrics of European manufacturers, highlighted expositions of suppliers and manufacturers from Turkey and China and organizing space for specialized salons. A mobile application of the exhibition was created and put into operation, where anyone could use interactive mobile services: a catalog of exhibitors, an electronic guide to the exposition, the ability to schedule visits to events of the business program of the exhibition, as well as directly communicate and make appointments with exhibitors, including speakers and organizers. Visitors of the exhibition could also make an appointment at the stand with an exposition interesting for them. Special attention was paid to the “General chat” function, where project participants could turn to the rest of the audience to tell about themselves, their services, ask questions to the organizers or share important and interesting information.

 

 

The design of the entrance area of ​​the event has been significantly developed. In addition to the beautifully designed decorative exposition, digital interactive screens were conveniently located at the entrance to the pavilion, where visitors could find the necessary information about the participants of the exhibition, as well as learn about the rules of the events of the business program of the exhibition.

 

The feedback of the INTERFABRIC exhibition participants once again confirms that the exhibition is not only a meeting place for industry professionals, but also is the main platform for establishing new business contacts and personal acquaintance of industry market participants.
