Feb 20-24, 2017 in Moscow (at the Expocentre Fairgrounds) the
Russian Textile Week will take place, organized by the
Russian Union of Entrepreneurs of Textile and Light Industry (SOYUZLEGPROM) and JSC Expocentre in partnership with Messe Frankfurt company and with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation.
Traditionally, within the framework of Russia’s largest industry convention and exhibition event the following exhibitions will be held:
INLEGMASH (equipment for production and processing of textiles);
INTERFABRIC (fabrics and textiles),
TECHTEXTIL RUSSIA (technical textiles and nonwovens exhibition; raw materials, equipment, products),
CJF-CHILDREN’S FASHION (children’s and youth fashion; clothes for pregnant women).
The key event of the saturated four-day business program of the
Russian Textile Week will be the
International Forum of the Light Industry LEGPROMFORUM-2017.
During the four days of the
Russian Textile Week 25 thousand sq m of the exhibition area in 8 halls of the Expocentre will be involved. More than 1500 exhibitors, 2000 participants of the forum, more than 200 speakers and more than 20 thousand visitors-professionals are expected at all exposition and business platforms of Expocentre.
Among the main topics of the Week will be:
• the state support and subsidizing of the industry enterprises, state and municipal contracts, leasing programs;
• the creation of an industry bank, further development of import substitution;
• the results of the implementation of RFID-tags as the most effective measure for the prevention and detection of counterfeit products;
• uniforms and children’s clothing safety standards, innovations in technical textiles field, the specifics of e-commerce, and many others.
The main theme of the forum in 2017 will be cross-sectoral cooperation, including work with retail chains, petrochemical industries, furniture, pulp and paper, automotive industry. In the framework of the business program of the
Russian Textile Week-2017 plenary and sectoral meetings with participation of the authorities of the relevant ministries and departments, as well as workshops, seminars and round tables for all categories of participants of the industry, trade and procurement sessions and promotions will be organized.
On the first day of the opening of the Forum the
Golden spindle-2016 National Industry Award ceremony will be held. As part of the Week the
2nd Scientific and Practical Symposium for Technical Textiles and Nonwovens will be held for two days.
