According to the results of the work of the enterprises of the domestic light industry in ten months of the current year, the index of industrial production in the textile sub-sector was 107.6%, in the garment industry – 102.3% in the leather and footwear industry – 103.7% compared to the same period of last year.
The output of synthetic yarns increased by 12.4%, of fabrics by 11.1%, of wool – by 12.9%, of linen by 2.7%, of cotton threads by 2.8% %, silk – 3%, of synthetic fibers and threads – 25.9%, nonwovens – 3.5%.
Also, production of fabrics with PVC coating increased by 19.6%, quilted quilts increased by 6.5%. At the same time, the production of cotton yarn decreased by 3.8%, bed linen – by 1.9%, carpets and carpets – by 9.6.
In the sewing sub-sector for the period from January to October of this year, production of suits, jackets and blazers for men increased by 23.3%, jackets and blazers for women – by 0.7%, garments for knitted garments – by 40.9%, for knitwear – by 9.6%, men’s jackets by 7%, women’s dresses by 9.9%, coats and short coats by 0.7%. At the same time, production of men’s shirts decreased by 0.5%, as well as hosiery products – by 5.6%.
In leather and footwear production, footwear production increased by 11.3%, but production of suitcases and handbags decreased by 4.7%.
