From
February 20 to 24, 2017 in Moscow (Expocentre Fairgrounds), the Russian Textile Week will be held, organized by the Russian Union of Entrepreneurs of Textile and Light Industry (SOUZLEGPROM) and Expocentre with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation.
The International Exhibition INTERFABRIC (Fabrics and Textile Materials) is traditionally held in the framework of the largest in Russia industry congress and exhibition event.
The key event of the saturated four-day Business program of the Russian Textile Week will be the International Forum of Light Industry
LEGPROMFORUM 2017.
During the four days of the events of the Russian Textile Week 25 thousand square meters of exposition area in 8 pavilions of the Expocentre Fairgrounds will be used. More than 1,500 exhibitors, 2,000 forum participants, more than 200 speakers and more than 20,000 professional visitors are expected to attend all the exposition and business venues of Expocentre.
Among the main themes of the Week are: issues of state support and subsidies to industry enterprises, state and municipal orders, leasing programs, establishment of a branch bank, further development of import substitution, the results of RFID tags implementation as the most effective measure to prevent and detect counterfeit products, school uniforms and safety of standards of children’s clothing, innovations in the direction of technical textiles, the specifics of e-commerce and many others.
The main theme of the forum in 2017 will be inter-industry cooperation, including work with trade networks, petrochemical, furniture, pulp and paper, and automobile industries. Within the framework of the Business Program of the Russian Textile Week-2017, plenary sessions and sectoral meetings will be organized with the participation of the leadership of relevant ministries and departments, as well as workshops, seminars and round tables for all categories of industry participants, as well as trade and purchasing sessions and promo-actions.
On the first day of the opening of the
Forum (February 20, at 11:00 am, the Blue Hall of Pavilion 2, Expocentre), the solemn ceremony of presenting the
National Industry Award “Golden Spindle-2016” will take place. Within the framework of the Week, the
2nd Scientific and Practical Symposium on Technical Textiles and Nonwovens will be held within two days.
