THE PROGRAM OF THE INTERNATIONAL TEXTILE TREND FORUM within the framework of the exhibition “INTERFABRIC-2018.Spring” IS PUBLISHED

Within the framework of the forthcoming exhibition “Interfabric-2018. Spring” and the “Russian Textile Week -2018 “, from March 20 to 23, 2018 in the Pavilion No. 3 of the Expocentre Fairgrounds for the participants and visitors, the International Textile Trend Forum will traditionally be organized. The co-organizers of the event are the Russian Union of Entrepreneurs of Textile and Light Industry, Solstudio Textile Design and trend bureau TRENDSQUIRE. The Trend Forum (Textile Expert Forum) is a professional design space organized for the visitors of the INTERFABRIC exhibition, where each of the companies gets an opportunity to show the best samples of their new collection. The main purpose of the Trend Forum is to inform specialists about current trends in style and design in the textile collections of the upcoming season. Materials presented on the forum help visitors quickly find the fabric they are interested in, as each sample shows the name and stand of the company. A special working area for business communication and mobile consultations in the format of daily free trend-excursions will also be presented to the attention of professionals. Participants of the trend-excursion tour among the exhibitors, where they learn the key visual trends: color, textures, design, prints, finishes. Also within the framework of the Trend Forum there will be a textile design contest TEXTILE DESIGN TALENTS. The main goal of the competition is to support talented textile designers of Russia and the near abroad, to draw the attention of professionals from all sectors and to create conditions for better use and development of their abilities in the industry. Specialists in the field of design, independent designers of textiles, interior, clothing, accessories, design studios and creative associations, students and graduates of profile universities, as well as anyone who has the appropriate training and the desire to create drawings for the fabric can take part in the competition. That is why the Russian textile design studio Solstudio Textile Design together with the Russian Union of Entrepreneurs of Textile and Light Industry decided to organize a Textile Design Talents textile design competition.
