On February 21 2017 the 2nd International Scientific and Practical Symposium ‘SCIENCE-TO THE TEXTILE PRODUCTION: THE LATEST BRANCH SCIENTIFIC DEVELOPMENTS IN THE SPHERE OF TECHNICAL TEXTILES AND THE PRACTICAL EXPERIENCE OF THEIR APPLICATION’ was held at the Expocentre on Krasnaya Presnya within the framework of the Russian Textile Week. rychov All participants of the event stressed that the production of technical textiles and non-woven materials, which is in demand by virtually all sectors of the country’s economy, has the greatest prospects in the development of domestic light industry. The production of this sub-sector on its own production base can become a driving force for the competitiveness of the textile industry. The attitude towards the textile and light industry in the state power structures is changing. There are support programs and an understanding that textiles are not only everyday clothes, but also technical high-tech materials for space, aircraft building, construction, medicine, and automotive industry. At last year’s First International Scientific and Practical Symposium ‘Science and Production in the Modern Economic Conditions’ were discussed such promising topics as: modification of synthetic fibers, use of multicomponent polyester fibers, heat resistance, fiber special treatment, waste water treatment using non-woven materials, nanostructured textile, conversion, poly-cycling and others. The results of the symposium made it possible to identify and focus the attention of the industry community on the main points of the organization of effective interaction between science and production. The Second International Scientific and Practical Symposium ‘Science to the Textile Production: The Latest Branch Scientific Developments in the Sphere of Technical Textiles and Practical Experience of their Application’ is, on the one hand, a review of achievements and the unification of scientists and industry workers, and on the other – business and practically useful program that promotes the development of proposals aimed at further development of the textile and light industry in Russia. razb Welcoming speeches to the participants of the symposium were delivered by Yevgeny Ryzhov, Director of the Department for the Development of Internal Trade, Light Industry and Legalization of Products of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation,  Andrey Razbrodin, the President of the Russian Union of Entrepreneurs of Textile and Light Industry, a member of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation, , Dr. Tech. Sc.,  Professor, Honored Worker of Science of the Russian Federation Sergey Nikolaev, Head of the FDA “Rosavtodor” Alexander Bukhtoyarov.      Yevgeny Ryzhov, while welcoming the further convergence of science and production, considers it expedient to use the system of research and development, which the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation is ready to contribute. According to Andrey Razbrodin, the work on increasing the pace of joint research and production activities should continue and the Russian Union of Entrepreneurs of Textile and Light Industry will do its utmost to strengthen and improve the efficiency of business contacts between science and industry. The President of the Russian Union of Entrepreneurs of Textile and Light Industry noted that the task of the symposium is to show concrete results of interaction between scientists and producers.      Sergei Nikolaev drew the attention of the symposium participants to the training of specialists for the industry, those future engineers who will soon have to implement the state policy of import substitution. “It is necessary to make changes to the system of training personnel for industry, to the system of branch science, in the attitude of the society to the light industry. And the sooner they are introduced, the better for all of us. ” kisel      Alexander Bukhtoyarov, speaking in front of the symposium participants, wished further development to the industry community, noting at the same time the constantly growing need of road builders in geotextile materials produced by domestic producers. The symposium was attended by more than 200 people, almost all research organizations, universities and manufacturers of products of major textile centers in Russia: Moscow, St. Petersburg, Ivanovo, Kostroma, Tver, Kazan, Yaroslavl. Among the speakers and guests of the symposium there were scientists and businessmen from Germany, France, Latvia, Belarus. Were discussed the latest  scientific and production achievements of the industry related to: – development of innovative textile materials for technical purposes for composites and life support; – modification of fibers and finishing of textile products; – efficiency of application of modern technologies and equipment in the industry; – commodity examination and modern methods of designing textile materials. rrr The business part of the symposium included three in-session sessions at which about 50 reports were presented and discussed, mainly on joint developments of researchers and production workers. Almost all the performances of the participants were innovative and were relevant at the present stage of development of the textile and light industry. In particular, the “Thermopol” company for the first time demonstrated examples of non-woven materials: alternative to concrete, solutionless masonry, joint with elastic foams of medical purpose, blankets with thermal control, thermal transfer surface treatment, trauma safety systems, etc. Joint activity of researchers of the FGBUN ‘Institute of Solution Chemistry named after G.A. Krestov’ of the Russian Academy of Sciences and Apoteks LLC (Ivanovo), allowed to find a solution to the problem of purposeful changes in the properties of textile materials from natural fibers with use of environmentally friendly finishing preparations and the production on this basis of safe products: nonwovens, technical fabrics of various structures and composition with improved multifunctional properties of fireproofing, heat resistance, sound insulation.      JSC “INPTs TLP” offered the development of import substituting fabric for departmental clothing from domestic polyamide yarns, as well as the production technology of competitive domestic fleece knitted fabrics of various uses. As a result of complex studies aimed at creating filter-sorption materials, which have a wide range of filtering, sorption, physical and mechanical properties, JSC VNIISV (Tver) developed a technology for production of filter-sorption materials with operational properties that meet the requirements for materials used in the production of modern domestic personal protective equipment. In cooperation with Ivanovo scientists and “Engineering-production company “TexInzh” LLC , a scheme of an industrial line for the elementarization and separation of flax fiber for various applications has been developed. A new method of imparting of a complex of improved performance characteristics to polypropylene yarns in the process of their preparation, based on the immobilization of micro-quantities of metal-containing nanoparticles stabilized with low-density polyethylene in the filament structure was developed by the team of the FGBUN Institute of Chemistry of Solutions named after G.A. Krestov of the Russian Academy of Sciences and Vikamed LLC. At least 25% of the reports at the symposium were devoted to topical issues of designing, developing and creating composite materials on the basis of non-woven fabrics and layered-frame fabrics for various applications. It should be noted that much attention was paid to the issues of textile quality. The Deputy Head of the Russian Quality System Elena Saratseva and the head of the SKS Center Valery Chuchaev presented the results of studies of fan purchases of Roskachestvo. Scientists of FGBOU VO “RSU named after A.N. Kosygin (Technology, Design, Art) “examined the structure of the preliminary standards of the Roskachestvo to assess the level of quality, the procedure for their adoption, as well as provided a flowchart product movement for determining the possibility of marking it with the” Sign of Quality “of Roskachestvo. Prospective trends in the development of finishing technologies and artistic and color design of textiles are presented by the researchers of the St. Petersburg State University of Industrial Technology and Design – innovative approach to methods of dyeing linen materials with natural dyes, which are characterized by ecological safety, constant renewability. A team of the Department of Chemical Technology of Fibrous Materials of FGBOU VO “RSU named after. A.N. Kosygin (Technologies, Design, Art)” developed an innovative dyeing method that ensures the preservation of a unique color natural gamma on the substrates to be painted, as the traditional way of using metal-containing mordant for fixing the color” muffles “colors. The decoration of the symposium was the show of models of children’s clothes from the art producer of the cultural association “KANNSKIYE STUDII” Vladimir Vikju. Reports of all participants are published in the collection of reports of the Second International Scientific and Practical Symposium. Summing up, the symposium participants stated that the current trends of Russia’s social development testifies to the need to expand the participation of the business community in the management of the industrial scientific and technical complex at all its levels. The commonwealth of producers and researchers allows us to work for the future. The result of cooperation is an increase in the pace of promotion of innovative products of the industry to domestic and international markets. The core of this interaction in the industry, as many participants in the symposium noted, can and should become the Russian Union of Entrepreneurs of Textile and Light Industry, which has the largest information resources about manufacturers of textiles and scientific developments in the industry in Russia, as well as opportunities for interaction with government structures, the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, the Federation Council, etc. Such a transition to an industrial and state system of organization of scientific and technical cooperation will allow not only to quickly link the needs of production and the possibility of science into a single structural diagram, but also significantly improve the effectiveness of scientific developments. The dialogue of the business community and science on the platform of the Second International Scientific and Practical Symposium made it possible to identify and find solutions to the current problems of the industry, to determine the organizational forms and efficiency of enterprises, innovation centers and universities, to prepare recommendations for the Government of the Russian Federation on the further implementation of the policy of import substitution in textile and light industry Industry. As Chairman of the Board of Directors of the  “Ves Mir” group of companies, Chairman of the Committee of the Russian Union of Entrepreneurs of Textile and Light Industry for the production of non-woven materials and products from them, Yevgeny Kotov noted: “If there are competitive industries – there will be a competitive country”. Based on the results of the event, the Resolution of the Symposium participants on supporting the development of industrial science and the direction of technical textiles and non-woven materials will be prepared and sent to the Government.
