Within the framework of the International INTERFABRIC-2017 Exhibition, held in EXPOCENTRE from February 20 to 22, at the stand of the TERMOPOL company there were demonstrated insulations for outdoor (equipment, tourism, outdoor activities ) and the Arctic with three-dimensional fibrous labyrinths – “traps for air” – Hollowfiber® ULTRA to the industry community and the heads of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation for the first time.
Hollowfiber® ULTRA consists of a high-tech mixture of chemical fibers of the latest generation, forming three-dimensional fibrous labyrinths – “air traps”.
The maximum use of heat-insulating properties of air, which has the highest thermal resistance, was achieved when creating a new insulation made of ultra-fine fibers.

The innovative composition of the non-woven fabric and the fibrous composition of
Hollowfiber® ULTRA predetermine the unique properties of
the new material. The manufacturer recommends using it in warm clothes of all types for minus temperatures, outdoor textiles (equipment, tourism, outdoor activities), as well as arctic collections for extremely low temperatures (below
-60 C).
“Traps for air” in
Hollowfiber® ULTRA, even with small linear densities of the material, can achieve increased thermal resistance.
Hollowfiber® ULTRA is produced in the range of densities from
60 to 700 g / m2. Similar and well-proven in the conditions of Russian winter imported material can be considered Thinsulate, and admissible analogs are:
Hollowfiber® SOFT, Hollowfiber® TEK, Hollowfiber® PRIM Z.
