‘Vasiliev & Partners’ textile manufactory, the leading Russian manufacturer of decorative textiles, announces a doubling of production capacities at the enterprise in Zelenograd (Moscow). Following the implementation of the investment project, the company ensured 100% of the localization of the production cycle on the territory of the Russian Federation. In the coming financial year, starting from October 1, 2017, it is planned to issue up to 2,000,000 running meters of curtain fabric at the domestic enterprise.
The company completed the construction of new premises at the production complex in Zelenograd, increasing the total useful area of the enterprise and the logistics center to 2500 square meters. Innovative digital printing machines have been put into operation that have expanded the existing high-tech park of the enterprise, which will allow at least double the output of curtain fabrics, ready-made sets of curtains, hard-to-ignite fabrics and blackout. Curtain fabrics and curtains will be realized by the channels under the new trade mark –
“Vasiliev and Partners ” Textile Manufactory”. Non-combustible fabrics and blackout will continue to be produced under the famous
Firetex brand.
Starting in 2018, the company plans to launch the production of fabrics for clothing. To date, the production complex is focused on the production of more than 7000 running meters of tissue per day. Sewing workshops of the company are designed for daily production of about 1500 finished products. The company buys up to 75% of raw materials for fabric production on the territory of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus.
The investment project was implemented to increase the company’s share in the Russian decorative fabrics market to 10% within the next 3 years. To achieve this goal, the volume of production and shipment can be further increased to 12,000 running meters of fabric per day (over 4 000 000 m per year), if the measures of state support of Russian producers are strengthened in the coming years and will allow solving a number of fundamental problems in the industry. “In 2016, the volume of the fabric market for only two groups – 5514 and 5408 – was 44 million square meters or $ 210 million in monetary terms, of which about 84% were imported from China. This is the volume of textile products that can and is profitable to produce on the territory of Russia and the EAC countries. The actual volume of output at our enterprise will depend, inter alia, on the implementation of measures to support domestic producers in the light industry,- notes Anton Vasiliev, CEO of Vasiliev & Partners.
